The Gavin Chronicles, May 19, 2008

"May the God of all hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope."
Romans 15:13

Good Morning to all our wonderful family and friends!

Yesterday we celebrated with many of you the reaffirmation of Gavin's baptism. What a wonderful celebration it was. We gathered at the font as we blessed our child and we gathered as friends to celebrate the life of this beautiful child.

Our family is truly blessed to be surrounded by such wonderful people. You have prayed for us, you have cried with us, you have laughed with us, you have shared a table with us, you have offered financial support and most of all, your love has been never failing.

Almost nine months ago the Lord started us on a incredible journey. A journey marked with many emotions both high and low. We have experienced God's grace in our lives at almost every turn. Gavin has truly been a miracle and a blessing to us. He has taught us so much about life and how to live life to its' fullest.

We are so glad that you could celebrate with us on this special occasion. Thank you so much for your continued prayers and support.

Gavin weighs in now at 9lbs and is doing very well. He now rolls from his tummy to his back and tries very hard to go from his back to his tummy. He babbles all the time and is very social. He loves to hold his own bottle now and eats like a champ. He likes his solid food but I must say he seems to be partial to sweets.....hmmm wonder where he gets that from??? His favorite food is ice cream.....he just loves it! Gavin still loves to play in the water and bath time is always fun for him. He should love summer time with the swimming pool. He has now officially outgrown his preemie clothes and they are packed away. As a matter of fact he has now outgrown some newborn clothes as well and is moving on to 3-6 months!!! He loves to play and talk with his brother and sister and they love to spoil him rotten.

I have included a few pictures from yesterday however there were so many good ones that this email will have to be 2 part so I can include them all. The second half of the email will only be images....

Thanks again for all that you are and all that you do.......til next time.....
